It’s become danger time for the Atlanta Falcons, who have now spent longer than a full month without tasting a victory. That is a catastrophic period when a team is looking to compete for a division title.
Atlanta went into Minnesota last weekend, had the game tied going into the fourth quarter and proceeded to get blown out throughout the final period to walk out of the Twin Cities with their fourth straight defeat and their record under .500 for the first time since Week 3.
The Birds also came out of Week 14 sitting in second place in the NFC South for the first time since Week 3 as well, after Tampa Bay’s third straight victory propelled them to the top of the standings.
