The other day, we looked at what the offense would need to do in order to help propel this Atlanta Falcons team to the postseason. Much of that was pretty self-explanatory, given that it boiled down to “keep starters healthy and hope stars are stars.”
The defense and special teams are not drastically different in that regard, of course, especially when we’re talking about the defensive line and the secondary. But there are variables I believe are important for this team to make a real postseason push, especially if the offense is anything but one of the league’s elite units.
