One of the hot button topics in the NFL at the moment is the question of what these rich athletes are doing with their time and money, and while the answer is almost invariably “more than any of us,” some players are going even further above and beyond. Vic Beasley is one such player, and he was just recognized by the NFL Player’s Association for his tireless work with the Rally Foundation.
The Foundation seeks to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer research, and boasts $11 million in donations to this point. Beasley has been one of the faces of the foundation since his career began, and his dominant 2016 season helped drive quite a bit of money and attention to just about the most worthy and noble cause you can think of.
