It has been a long week filled with advanced statistics, never-ending all-22 breakdowns, and blame-assigning. Last week, my biggest question for the Atlanta Falcons, “who is Kirk Cousins post-Achilles?” turned out to be an appropriate one, but as I stated then, that question wouldn’t be answered in one game. We soon learned why.
In case you didn’t hear, Zac Robinson rolled out a lousy game plan. Kirk Cousins was asked to play a style of football that he has never been particularly good at, not to say anyone else would’ve had better luck. Robinson’s offense allowed the Steelers defense to key off formations, apply pressure to Cousins, and control the game.
