The Atlanta Falcons have been a Greek tragedy more or less their entire existence, but there have been some legitimate bright spots along the way, most of them coming in the 2000s. But would you have guessed that they placed in the top half of the league for playoff wins since the turn of the century?
They have, by the way. They’re tied for 12th with six wins with the 49ers and Jets (?), which puts them right behind the Broncos, Panthers, and Saints. Only eight teams have managed double digit wins over that span, and only the Patriots have managed more than 15.
