Super Bowl special for Vic Beasley Jr. as he honors father's memory

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Pass-rusher Vic Beasley Jr. cried the last time the Atlanta Falcons were in the Super Bowl. And his father was right there to console him.

Beasley, who grew up in Adairsville, Georgia, was just 6 years old when his favorite team, the Falcons, lost to the Denver Broncos by a score of 34-19 in Super Bowl XXXIII.

"Yeah, I remember that game,'' Beasley said. ``I remember the Falcons losing.''

Maybe the end results will be different this time when the Falcons face the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI. If so, Beasley might cry again with tears of joy.
