In 15 days, the city of Atlanta will find out if it will host the 2019 Super Bowl.
The chances are very likely, considering the NFL reacts favorably to newly constructed venues. Atlanta's $1.4 billion Mercedes-Benz Stadium remains on schedule to open next June.
Although Atlanta is eligible to win the Super Bowl bids in 2019, 2020 and 2021, Falcons owner Arthur Blank made clear the goal is '19. At the same time, Blank isn't getting ahead himself in declaring victory.
