Reports surfaced just over 30 minutes ago that the Baltimore Ravens were parting ways with 26-year-old safety Will Hill just one day removed from signing Eric Weedle.
Hill signed a 2-year contract worth $7 million last year but that didn’t go as planned. Hill wasn’t even the starting safety for the Ravens by seasons end. The biggest knock on Hill isn’t his play on the football field, but his off-the-field issues. Hill has been suspended three times in his 4-year career for violations of the league’s substance abuse policy.
At 6-1, 228 pounds Hill could be a nice fit with the Atlanta Falcons and in Dan Quinn’s defensive scheme.
