Defensive end Quinton Coples, who was released by the New York Jets on Monday, may be of some interest to the Atlanta Falcons, who have the worst pass rush in the league.
Coples, 25, who was selected with the 16th pick overall in 2012, has 16.5 career sacks. He had 5.5 sacks as a rookie. He had 4.5 in 2013 and 6.5 in 2014.

Coples, who’s 6-foot-6 and 284 pounds, played defensive at North Carolina.
