Tennessee has requested permission to interview Falcons wide receivers coach Terry Robiskie for their offensive coordinator position, according to a “sourced” tweet by Alex Marvez of Fox Sports.
Since the move would be a promotion, the Falcons can’t block the request. Robiskie worked closely with Tennessee coach Mike Mularkey, when he was the Falcons offensive coordinator from 2008 to 2011. Mularkey often gave Robiskie credit for some of his play calls and in-game adjustments during his tenure with the Falcons.
Robiskie, who played at LSU and in the NFL, is a long-time and highly respected coach.
