Report: Patriots to cut Leonard Hankerson today

FLOWERY BRANCH – Leonard Hankerson, who opened the season as the Falcons’ number two wide receiver, is set to be waived by the New England Patriots on Saturday, according to a profootballtalk.com report citing a “league source.”

Hankerson was signed by the Patriots after being waived by the Falcons on Dec. 15. He played in eight games this season for the Falcons. He was targeted 46 times and caught 26 passes for 327 yards and three touchdowns.
