The Falcons are almost certainly not done tweaking their offensive line, but their latest reported signing is hardly the kind of seismic shakeup that a rookie backup center or rookie right tackle would be. It does indicate that the Falcons could choose to go in a different direction than the one we assumed with their interior depth, which as of the moment consists of veterans Wes Schweitzer and Brandon Fusco and former draft pick Sean Harlow.
Adam Gettis, the soon-to-be signee in question, has played in 17 games with one start over stints with Washington, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, and the New York Giants.
