The Falcons have already made one big move in their secondary by releasing Robert Alford after five seasons. They’ve now made another, electing not to tender a contract to cornerback Brian Poole and allowing him to hit the open market.
Per ProFootballTalk, Poole has been informed of the decision.
Per source, Falcons have informed CB Brian Poole that he will not be tendered; he will be a free agent on March 13.

Brian Poole has been an integral piece on the Falcons’ defense since he signed as an undrafted free agent out of Florida in 2016.
