The Falcons have long been one of the better teams in the NFL when it comes to getting deals done early. This offseason thus far has been an object lesson in what can happen if you can’t get that done, as Vic Beasley will be here for $12.8 million on a one year deal and Grady Jarrett was just given the franchise tag as the team tries to get something long-term done.
Given that, it’s no great surprise that the Falcons are already opening up contract talks with Deion Jones, their star middle linebacker and the next huge contract heading their way.
