Per ESPN's Vaughn McClure, linebacker Brooks Reed is recovering from a groin injury and may miss the beginning of OTAs.
Linebacker Brooks Reed, acquired by the Falcons as a free agent this offseason, is dealing with a groin injury he suffered during voluntary workouts and may miss the start of organized team activities, per ESPN's Vaughn McClure.
The injury has been described as minor, but groin injuries are generally difficult to recover from, and the team would be wise to not rush him back. That said, this is valuable time for Reed with a new scheme to learn, and missing any part of OTAs is less than ideal.
