WalterFootball.com, one of the more reputable independent NFL publications, awarded Thomas Dimitroff and the Falcons a B for their seven selections, and has been especially impressed with their third round choice, Tevin Coleman.
A talented running back from Indiana University, Coleman, 22, racked up 2,036 yards and 15 touchdowns during his senior year — a year in which the Hoosiers’ offense struggled considerably. When considering Coleman’s skill, the other prospects on the board and every other variable, Walter Football’s Charlie Campbell dubbed Coleman a “potential boom pick” and awarded the Falcons an A for tabbing him at 73rd overall.
