FLOWERY BRANCH — In the Falcons’ base defense Brooks Reed and Derrick Shelby were used as the defensive ends on Saturday.
The Falcons are also counting on Vic Beasley and Adrian Clayborn in their nickel package to bring some pressure this season.
The pressure coming for the defensive end positions was solid during the first padded practice of training camp.
