Qadree Ollison made the roster and suffered that unfortunate fate that sometimes befalls players shortly after teams cut down to 53 players: He was cut, in favor of another running back, and found himself floating out there in free agency. After drawing praise over the summer from Arthur Smith, especially early on, that was frankly a crappy outcome.
It’s not a roster spot—not yet—but Ollison is happily back in Atlanta.
We have signed Qadree Ollison to the practice squad and released Sam Jones from the practice squad.

The Falcons have two running backs on the practice squad now, with Ollison joining rookie Caleb Huntley.
