Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season kicks off with a second-straight round of AFC East football, this time between the New England Patriots (1-1) and the New York Jets (1-1). Both teams are looking significantly different than in years past, with the Patriots largely starting over on both sides of the ball and the Jets hoping to finally get a competitive season with Aaron Rodgers at the helm.
The Patriots have had a rough offseason and were widely considered the worst team in the AFC prior to the season. Instead, the defense has flourished under new head coach Jerod Mayo and even managed to steal a game from the perennially slow-starting Bengals.
