If Kyle Pitts were coming into the league today, fresh off an injury-marred collegiate season, he’d be a little old for a rookie at 23. He’d also be a much-hyped bundle of intriguing traits, the kind of player you could overlook injury history and age for in order to drum up the excitement we’re all harboring for Atlanta Falcons rookies.
But Pitts is not a rookie. As he put it to Atlanta Falcons’ beat writer Terrin Waack, he’s a super rookie:
“I would say I’m a super rookie,” Pitts said Tuesday.
