Last week, Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown filed a grievance with the NFL to be permitted to continue wear his old helmet. The new league rule prevents Brown from wearing the helmet he wore for nearly a decade because it is no longer certified by the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment. Brown even told team officials that he would retire if he couldn’t wear his old helmet.
This resulted in D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution asking Julio Jones if he’s content with his current helmet after Monday’s Falcons practice.
