FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Atlanta Falcons star receiver Julio Jones is dealing with a turf toe injury, an injury he suffered in Sunday's 29-28 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, coach Dan Quinn said Monday.
"Hopefully, he's on a shorter-term [timetable],'' Quinn said of Jones' injury. "We'll get a chance to see what he looks like Wednesday Jones, who has dealt with a series of injuries this season, missed some time in the late moments of Sunday's game. He appeared to favor his left foot while getting medical attention.
"It's football,'' Jones said after the game.
