Jones sets Falcons' career receiving-yards record

ATLANTA -- Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones surpassed Roddy White as the franchise's all-time leading receiver with a 54-yard touchdown catch against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night, a catch that gave the Falcons a 24-20 lead.

Jones, who had five catches for 106 yards after the play, entered the game needing 102 yards to surpass White's mark of 10,863 yards, which White established in 171 career games through 11 seasons. Jones set the new mark in 113 games in nine seasons.

White praised his close friend Jones for rewriting the record books.
