Bringing the Falcons’ fans to their feet, former Falcons linebacker and Falcons’ Ring of Honor member Jessie Tuggle was recognized on the field after the first quarter of the Falcons matchup with the Houston Texans Sunday.
Tuggle played his entire career with the Falcons from 1987 through 2000 and is one of the few Falcons’ players to have his jersey retired.
In addition to his honor at halftime, Tuggle watched his sons Justin Tuggle and Grady Jarrett play for the Texans and Falcons respectively.
Justin Tuggle was signed as an undrafted free agent with the Texans in 2013 out of Kansas State as a linebacker.
