The Atlanta Falcons are 6-3 and with a comfortable but hardly insurmountable lead atop the NFC South. Continued winning will keep them there, and they can get another vital victory by beating the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
The 2-7 Saints fired their head coach and traded away one of their best players, signaling they know their season is cooked and the long, painful road to rebuilding will start soon. They’ll still hope to knock off Atlanta and ruin their perfect divisional record, while the Falcons will hope to move to 5-0 against the division for the first time since (really) 2014.
