Former Clemson Tigers defensive tackle Grady Jarrett was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL draft with the No. 137 overall pick, but that news took a backseat to a fire at his family’s home Friday night.
David Hood of TigerNet.com noted that Jarrett’s family's house burned down Friday, the second day of the draft.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport and Fox Sports' Ross Jones shared some of the details of the fire:
Grady Jarrett’s family suffered no injuries, but his house was significantly damaged by fire yesterday.
