In need of a win on Sunday against the Buccaneers to maintain a spot in the playoff hunt, the Falcons get back their starting running back, Devonta Freeman.
“It feels good to be back out there,” said Devonta Freeman who has cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol but was limited in contact drills for precautionary reasons.
Atlanta’s offensive line was without one of their starters as right guard Chris Chester was sidelined with a shoulder injury. The injury occurred on the final drive of the Falcons’ recent game against the Vikings.
Kicker Matt Bryant (quad) and wide receiver Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) both did not practice for the second straight week.
