Former Atlanta Falcons linebacker Buddy Curry will be inducted into the Atlanta Sports Hall of Fame, the Falcons announced on Friday.
Curry spent his eight-year NFL Career with the Falcons from 1980-1987, where he was a two-time All-Pro selection (1980, 1982) and earned NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors in 1980.
Off the field, Curry has made a huge impact in the community. In 2002, Curry founded Kids & Pros, a non-profit, character-based youth sports organization that engages retired NFL players in their communities to teach football fundamental skills and build character with youths.
