Former Falcon Jamal Anderson released from Hall County jail

Jamal Anderson is a free man again.

The former Atlanta Falcons running back was released Saturday morning from the Hall County jail, where he served five days after pleading guilty to DUI.

In March, Anderson was given a 24-month sentence, including 12 days in jail, after pleading guilty to DUI and failure to maintain charges from a September arrest in Hall County. The 43-year-old surrendered Monday and was booked into jail. He was released Saturday, due to good behavior and getting credit for time already served, according to his attorney, Arturo Corso.
