Former Falcon Douglas won't play Sunday

The Falcons decided that they didn’t want to pay $4 million for a No. 3 receiver and cut wide receiver Harry Douglas.

He quickly signed with the Tennessee Titans.

Douglas, of Jonesboro, had been with the Falcons since he was selected out of Louisville in the third round of the 2008 draft. He grew close to fellow receivers Roddy White and Julio Jones.

“I talked to Rod (on Wednesday),” Douglas said.
