The Falcons announced today that they have waived tight end Kyle Miller. Miller, who is 6'5" and 262 pounds, spent last season on Atlanta's practice squad. He was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio football powerhouse Mount Union by the Jacksonville Jaguars and spent time with the Colts and the Dolphins prior to landing with the Falcons.
It's not a surprise move by any stretch. Miller's the low man on the depth chart behind Levine Toilolo, a fourth-round draft choice in 2013, as well as free agent veteran additions Tony Moeaki and Jacob Tamme.
