The Atlanta Falcons officially waived QB Matt Simms from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Tuesday.
Simms, 28, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted out of Tennessee back in 2012. He spent just over three years with the Jets before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Bills.
However, Simms was unfortunately among their final roster cuts at the start of the 2015 season. Simms later signed on to the Falcons’ practice squad and returned to Atlanta on a futures deal before he was waived last September.
