The Falcons were 2-4 against the Packers in the Mike Smith era, but they’re a perfect 3-0 against them since Dan Quinn took over, with two-out-of-three qualifying as borderline or complete blowouts. This Atlanta team has had Green Bay’s numbers, but I fear those days are coming to a close.
Why? Because Atlanta is putrid and about to travel to Green Bay to face a motivated Packers team that just cleared out Mike McCarthy and Winston Moss, giving Aaron Rodgers freedom he seemingly has long craved. With as listless as the Falcons have been in recent weeks, it’s hard to imagine them suddenly finding their footing against a team that should benefit from a coaching change bounce.
