This weekend, the Atlanta Falcons can finally quiet some of the talk about their struggling offense, struggling run defense, Super Bowl hangover, Steve Sarkisian hire, and ineptitude against the AFC East this year. That talk has to be wearisome inside the building, because it is certainly not a lot of fun outside the building.
To do so, they’ll need to vanquish the New York Jets in New Jersey. Atlanta’s offensive struggles have been well-documented here and elsewhere in the last couple of weeks, but suffice to say they’ll need to get by a quality Jets line and emerging secondary to win this one, while quieting a Jets offense that hasn’t been the inept mess it looked like it would be.
