You know things have gone terribly wrong when Peter Konz, who hasn't exactly found his footing in the league, is in the mix for the best player to wear jersey number 66.
As it stands, tackle Warren Bryant, Atlanta's sixth overall pick in the 1977 NFL Draft, earns the honor of being the best number 66 in Falcons history.
It's pretty much by default.
Bryant spent eight years in the league, including four seasons in which he started every game.. In 1984, he appeared in four games for the Falcons and five for the (at the time) Los Angeles Raiders.
