The 2008 NFL Draft brought third-picked Matt Ryan to Atlanta, and yet we're not here to talk immaculate dentition, fermented nicknames and precarious gun-slinging. Today belongs to current Falcons defenseman Kroy Biermann, faux-hawks, fermented surnames and gingered run-stopping.
Drafted 154th overall, Biermann was the Falcons' fourth of six defensive picks in a rookie class that included Thomas DeCoud and Curtis Lofton. With the exception of the 2013 season, which ripped up Kroy's Achilles tendon in week two, Biermann has played 16 games every year he's been in the league.
