Thursday wound up being quite rainy in Flowery Branch, which made for an unpleasant experience for just about everybody there. In true football team fashion, though, the Falcons made it into a cause for celebration.
While the practice was sloppy, by all accounts, Atlanta got an opportunity to battle a bit in lousy weather. That could come in handy down the line if the Falcons are stuck on a miserable, rainy day somewhere, so I guess that’s something.
What happened besides the precipitation? A few noteworthy things.
