Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff said Thursday that they plan to discuss a contract extension with veteran kicker Matt Bryant at some point in the near future, per Vaughn McClure.
Bryant, 42, began his NFL career with the Giants back in 2002. He had stints with the Cowboys, Colts, Dolphins and Buccaneers before eventually signing on with the Falcons in 2009.
Bryant is in line to be an unrestricted free agent in the coming months.
