The Atlanta Falcons know they have little in the way of settled depth along their offensive line, which is worrisome given that injuries routinely pop up. As good as this team’s starters are, knowing you have more than Storm Norton and a prayer is good for anyone’s peace of mind.
That’s likely why they’ve been tinkering with their line depth so frequently in recent months, and that tinkering continued on Tuesday. With training camp just around the corner, the Falcons have signed veteran tackle Julie’n Davenport, adding more competition to a crowded but largely unproven group.
