Falcons sign Shuler, released Polumbus

FLOWERY BRANCH – The Falcons signed tight end Mickey Shuler and released tackle Tyler Polumbus on Tuesday.

With tight end Jacob Tamme suffering a concussion in the 39-28 win over Dallas, the Falcons were thin at the tight end position. Tamme is in the league’s concussion protocol

The Falcons were down to one tight end on the roster in Levine Toilolo. They had to use fullback Patrick DiMarco as the backup tight end against the Cowboys.
