FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons have added another running back to their roster, and signed Kelvin Taylor – the son of Fred Taylor, one of the most accomplished running backs in NFL history.
Taylor, 5-foot-10 and 207 pounds, ran for 1,035 yards on 259 carries and 13 touchdowns during his time at the University of Florida. In high school, Taylor was a USA Today High School All-American and attended Glades Day School in Belle Glade, Fla. As a junior, he broke Emmitt Smith's Florida career rushing yards record and for his career, he tallied 12,121 yards and 191 touchdowns.
