FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons have reached an injury settlement with running back B.J. Daniels and signed running back Jhurell Pressley.
Daniels was unable to play in Atlanta’s first preseason game against the Miami Dolphins. The former University of South Florida quarterback was signed to the Falcons’ practice in December of the 2016 season.
Originally selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Daniels then went on to spend time with the Seattle Seahawks (October-November 2015), Houston Texans (December 2015), New York Giants (May 2016) and the Chicago Bears (July 2016).
