The Falcons cut ties with UDFA offensive lineman Scottie Dill recently, leaving an opening on the roster. They’ve filled that opening with tackle Ka’John Armstrong, who the team had worked out on Thursday.
Atlanta’s added the 24-year-old former Browns, Jaguars, and Broncos practice squad lineman to replace Dill and add competition along the offensive line, per their announcement. This comes as the team increasingly gives Matt Gono reps at tackle in practice, leaving the picture at the position a little cloudy. Armstrong will hope to latch on as a practice squad candidate, more than likely, especially if the team is pivoting to giving Gono the swing tackle job.
