The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday that they’ve signed fullbacks Derrick Coleman and Soma Vainuku to contracts.
Coleman was previously suspended by the NFL for four games after he sentenced to community service and probation following the hit-and-run collision that took place a few years ago.
Coleman was charged with felony hit-and-run and vehicular assault by King County prosecutors in Washington and was facing 12-14 months in jail for his role in the incident.
The Seahawks suspended Coleman following the accident before later reinstating him.
Coleman, 26, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in 2012.
