As mentioned a few days ago in our guard review, the Atlanta Falcons have Jon Asamoah and "Uh Oh" at guard. Justin Blalock was replaced with Mike Person, a player who has never started an NFL game.
Many expect the Falcons to closely monitor released veterans to supplement some of the roster's bigger holes, including the guard position. Luckily Washington is not waiting until final roster cut downs to make some of their veterans available, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.
Chester was likely too small and expensive to fit well in Washington's new blocking scheme, but he is obviously a schematic fit after playing in Kyle Shanahan's offense.
