Wow, the Atlanta Falcons are adding playmakers to their defense. With the 42nd overall pick, the Falcons selected cornerback Jalen Collins out of LSU, and it’s a great pick.
Collins has a rare mix of size and speed. The 6’1″, 203-pounder provides the Falcons with excellent value in the second round, as many believed the LSU star was a first-rounder.
This is exactly the type of player new head coach Dan Quinn loves. What makes the Seattle Seahawks’ defense so good? They are tough, and they are fast to the football.
Collins is quick, and so is first round selection Vic Beasley from Clemson.
