The Falcons are in pretty good shape with their key special teams players heading into the season.
We've examined the roster in depth and discussed the different positions that will be hotly contested heading into the season. Special teams, however, seems to be pretty well settled.
The Falcons re-signed kicker Matt Bryant to a three-year, $8.5 million dollar contract this offseason, and rightfully so. Bryant made 29 of 32 attempted field goals last season, including a few game-winners. Bryant had an overall Pro Football Focus grade of +9.8 for his play last season. Bryant is clutch, and there's no reason to suspect the upcoming season will be any different.
