The Atlanta Falcons have blessed us with their first official depth chart for the regular season. While there haven’t been any significant changes, there is a new name to report, as safety Justin Simmons officially makes his debut on the chart as the starter alongside Jessie Bates III.
Rookies Ruke Orhorhoro, JD Bertrand, and Casey Washington are all listed as immediate backups at their respective positions. All three rookies flashed in the preseason and will be special teams contributors. At the same time, Brandon Dorlus and Jase McClellan are tucked a little further back on the chart, which shouldn’t come as a surprise as both are in two of the most talented rooms on the roster.
