The Atlanta Falcons defeated the Washington Redskins in decisive fashion this afternoon. It was a much-needed win, and at 4-4, the Falcons are officially back in the playoff picture ... kinda. The next few weeks will tell us a lot about this team, but Falcons football is suddenly fun to watch again, and that’s good enough for me. Let’s talk injuries.
There was only one big (potential) injury today. Mason Foster had incidental helmet to helmet contact with Calvin Ridley during the second half. It wasn’t pleasant to watch, as Foster’s helmet bounced off Ridley’s helmet, which then ricocheted violently off the turf.
