The Atlanta Falcons continue to pile up smart signings of useful veterans, as they’ve given Blidi Wreh-Wilson a one year deal to return to the team’s corps of cornerbacks.
This is one of my favorite moves of the early offseason by a wide margin. Wreh-Wilson was a bit of a draft bust when he came out, but since winding up with the Falcons as a free agent in 2016, he’s been reliably good in his limited action with the team. BWW is a quality athlete with coverage skills that are far better than I would have expected from his pre-Atlanta reputation, and the only thing he’s struggled with is finding playing time to this point with so many players in front of him.
